Dancehall Choreography - 5 Week Course

Join us for a 5 week dancehall choreography course with instructor Rachell Dade. In this class: You will learn a range of dancehall steps combined in a choreography, to Jamaican dancehall music. Have fun, and build your performance skills working toward filming your progress in week 5. Dancehall dance is an increasingly popular style of dance developing in the late 1970's from the English speaking island of Jamaica. Dancehall music and dance 's influence can now been seen in popular music across the the world from mainstream pop , to rap, regaetton and hip hop. Your instructor: Rachell has dedicated her life to the exploration of bold, colourful expressions of culture from around the world. As a facilitator and dance instructor, Rachell works hard to be your own personal hype woman, she creates a safe space for you to learn and feel good moving your body. Cancellation Policy

CLASSES/COURSES: Multi-week courses are sold as consecutive weeks, and are valid from the first week. Missed weeks are not transferable to other courses. No refunds offered for classes not attended STUDIO HIRE: Note - For the period of February 2024 bookings must be made at least 48hours in advance, no same day bookings permitted. At other times please book with 24hrs notice, for emergency booking requests < 24hrs please email/whatsapp +6140113884. Studio hire can be rescheduled with 24hrs notice, subject to availability. Refunds are not available. For recurring hires please email info@freeitupdance.com to discuss. If you are hiring the studio for the purpose of teaching a class you must email a copy of your public liability / dancers insurance - failure to do so may result in your booking being cancelled. | GENERAL: Covid safe restrictions are in effect and you agree to abide by social distancing and other requirements, if you attend the studio with a fever, or cold/flu like symptoms you will be requested to leave the studio | Please treat the studio and those around you with respect. No food permitted in the studio | There may be times where photos or videos of classes are taken and used for social media and business purposes, by choosing to book you are agreeing to and consent to the fact you may be included in photos/videos utilised by Free It Up Dance. Your agree you are fit and well and are able to participate in dance activities.
